地球年龄已证实为很老的吗?

绝大部分基督徒都相信,宇宙万物是圣经中之神所创造,不是进化而来的。但他们通常不敢肯定地球有多老,因为根据今天一般讲法,地球年龄是四十六亿年左右;可是根据人从圣经记载的推测,地球应该不会大大超过六千年。
我们必须问:「地球年龄四十六亿」是否铁一般的事实?科学家们是否已经证实了的呢?
护教学家 Henry Morris 曾经做了一个研究(见下),现有68个估计地球年龄的科学办法,有5个难于量度,此外,显示地球在一万年之下的有18个,从一万至一百万的有20个。我想,一个公平的科学家应该说:地球年龄未有定论。
